Jo Jo Zep - Taxi Mary on 2REâs 80âs Hour this morning
The Lady Donât Mind - Talking Heads on Gold 104.3 now as part of This Week in Music. One of my favourites!
This is why I want 2RE to stream!
Here here. Would love to hear it stream some day.
5 Seconds of Summer - She Looks So Perfect was played on Hit 104.7 this morning. I am embarassed to say that I was a âfake fanâ (i.e. only listened to their singles, never saw them live) of 5SOS back in the dayâŚ

Rush- New World Man
The Fresh Mix tonight.

'* One note - a reference was made to this A side/B side (the B side track was âLast Cutâ) being from the âMan Of Coloursâ album .. Well, yes and no, neither track was on the original 1987 release of âMan Of Coloursâ, but âTouch The Fireâ was on the 2002 re-releaseâŚ
Oops, yes I thought I never heard it on the original Man Of Colours before.
Thanks for clearing that up and for listening. Iâll add a correction on my next show, like any good medium should.
Will post the full playlist shortly. As you might be able to tell from the tracks above, the Missing Six this week focused on wordplay and puns.
Ian Moss - Telephone Booth, on 101.5 Caboolture just now.
The forgotten sibling to Tuckers Daughter but just about as good a track. One of those songs I remember from childhood but must have not heard in 25+ years I reckon.

Listening to Super Hits in USA heard Men at Work Down Under. Later switched to Greatest Hits UK and they played Youâre the Voice John Farnham.
Yes, sometimes we forget how massive Men At Work were in the US. Sometimes I think they were even bigger there than here in some respects. Not just Down Under either, they had some big hits there with songs like Overkill and Who Can It Be Now - both of which charted a couple of places higher than they did in Australia.
Some great songs on the Retro 20/20 Countdown tonight
(streamed via iHeart Radioâs 5MU so timeshifted locally to 7.30 as I was late getting dinner ready!).
One Of Us â Joan Osborne
(last song played before the Countdown)
The theme tonight was the Top 20 from this week in July 1987
I Want Your Sex â George Michael
Breakout â Swing Out Sister
Shakedown â Bob Seger
Boom Boom (Letâs Go Back To My Room) â Paul Lekakis
Suddenly â Angry Anderson
(Glad Iâm) Not A Kennedy â Shona Laing
Ship Of Fools â World Party
Heâs Gonna Step On You Again â The Party Boys
Whoâs That Girl? â Madonna
A special mention for them also playing the Cynthia Fee version of âThank You For Being A Friendâ (used as the opening theme to âThe Golden Girlsâ), which in my opinion is way better than the Andrew Gold version. The show got a mention as it also started in 1987.
Great show again today @dxnerd⌠just a small selection of my picks from that show (but there were in reality only 3 or 4 songs that werenât my cup of tea).. but I know youâll probably post the full log tomorrow anyway.
Cattle And Train â Go-Betweens
Dogs Are The Best People â The Fauves
Baby Baby â Ratcat
E = MC2 â Big Audio Dynamite
Tour de France - Kraftwerk
Though I was a bit mystified by the âMissing Sixâ.. which referenced the 1985 âHottest On Recordâ compilation album.. none of the songs you played were on the compilation I was thinking of (pic below)⌠and one of the songs you played was from 1980 (No Secrets - The Angels) ? I know you mentioned it was released by CBS, though this one was released by RCA⌠was there another one? (I couldnât find it).
