Recently heard Genesis- Hold on My Heart on 2NUR FM Newcastle just a few minutes ago. Perhaps one of the few seldom played tracks from the “We Can’t Dance” album (compared to “I Can’t Dance” which gets regularly played on the M’s) with the album being the final Genesis album to feature Phil Collins on vocals and drums before his 1995 departure.

Meanwhile, Rebel yesterday arvo pulled out Pantera’s Cemetery Gates just after 5pm, which was an absolute cracker. Name me a better song to crank loud on your drive home on a Friday afternoon…

Heard “Homosapien” by Pete Shelly on tonight’s edition of “Nights with Dave Gleeson” on Triple M Newcastle just recently. This early Synthpop banger Charted at number 4 on the Kent Music Report in 1982.

Funnily enough I received Sutherland Sharks Radio (99.7) better than 2NBC, despite not being in its licence area. I had probably the strongest (technically fortuitous) reception you could possibly get, around 60 dB+ on the Tecsun from memory.
