Hot Tomato remains at #1 with 16.4% (+0.5), followed by Triple M with 12.8% (-1.2), JJJ with 9.8% (+1.0) and Sea FM with 9.4% (-1.7). In the demos, Hot Tomato is #1 in the 10-17s, 25-54s & 65+, with JJJ topping the 18-24s, and Triple M topping the 55-64s. In breakfast, Hot Tomato’s _Galey & Emily Jade_ is #1 with 16.3% (-0.3), followed by Triple M’s _Flan, Ali & Spida_ with 12% (-1.4), Sea FM’s out-going team of _Bianca, Ben & Lakey_ with 9% (-1.4), and JJJ’s _Bryce & Concetta_ with 8.8% (-0.5). In drive, Hot Tomato’s _Moyra & Big Trev_ dominates with 17.8% (+0.2), followed by _Carrie & Tommy_ on Sea with 14% (-1.7), and Triple M’s _Rush Hour_ with 12.7% (-0.6). Looking at the ratings, it will be interesting to see on which stations ARN would keep and/or acquire, and which one will be sold off to ACP, should ARN’s acquisition/merger of SCA go ahead. The “Other Stations” this survey is at 32.8%, up 0.7% from last survey. ---

A poor survey for ABC local stations both Gold Coast and Brisbane - 612 used to be a big player in the market. In contrast Triple J comes third after Sea FM has a big drop. ---

For the last 10 years Sea FM would have averaged #3 in the market (albeit with a few stints further up the rankings) so not much has changed. But it’s hardly going to get better without a true local breakfast made by out of towners (even if they are in the local studios).
