Gogglebox and taskmaster made for a good combo for ten last night ratings wise. Maybe now they have this program to themselves they can extend the seasons, add the celeb versions back in and try to get more out of the brand?
What format do the OS versions follow? Short seasons like ours or are they on year round?
UK does two seasons of 16 episodes, Feb to May and Sep to Dec. This is up from 12 episodes in early seasons.

Iâm finding the edit different this year under 10 exclusivity. Itâs more humourous and the narrator has more one liners.

I hope the next season will be scheduled better so that it finishes in the final week of ratings survey in late November. It helps that 10 now has the sole rights to the show.
In the showâs 11 year history, only in three occasions did a season ended in November.
I feel like this was definitely a shorter season. Did it run for 6 weeks? And new shows are starting like the Floor. When do we think it wil return? Aus or Sep?

The next season should start no earlier than mid September if it is to run to the end of November, assuming it is again 10 episodes.

Just even changing when it airs. People still like it, but its getting stale just reviewing the same reality/observational shows every seasonâŚand barely touching australian dramas.
And the fact Neighbours and Home And Away are never reviewed yet each Gogglebox season theres about 100 episodes of soap to choose from.

When Neighbours ended they did review it because that had a general buzz and was talked about.
They have had recent dramas like Last King of the Cross but itâs a lot harder to have them review episode 5 of a drama. Theyâre only going to make them watch a first episode as a sampler.
Blaming Gogglebox for relying on Reality TV and Factuals when thatâs the TV landscape is blaming a symptom.
