Because it really isn’t that big of a story.
Even in the US, just zapping through six channels and got nothing. Only CBS put out an online article.

ABC News channel had live coverage. Nine Sydney and Melbourne jumped in just after the annoucement and replayed it. Nine Brisbane went to the ex Euro correspondent. Seven in Sydney and Melbourne were just behind Nine.

It was live during Credlin on Sky News as well with special comments from Peta Credlin and Chris Uhlmann both in London after.

WPIX was forced to evacuate from their building yesterday, as they were located near the buckled building in Manhattan. They simulcasted NewsNation for a while before going live with limited resources on the street.
