We focus on food growing, joining gardeners on the Sydney Edible Garden Trail. Tammy visits a garden with a Sri Lankan twist, Sophie shows her orchard’s progress, and we meet a chef making the most of vegetables.
I get it why they have a mid season break, but am not a huge fan of it. Two months off is too long for me. Monty Don’s ratings (its replacement) has been fairly average, i think.
If they were to have a break in the future, then a week or two off here and there is fine, rather than the 8 weeks off at a time.
They seem to be off air more than on, go back to half hour shows all year instead of an hour for half a year.
I’d say the breaks are due to not having enough budget to make episodes for the whole year. Back to 30 minute episodes all year is probably a good idea.

We explore the gardens of South-East Queensland. Jerry tours the lush tropical dome at the Brisbane Botanic Gardens, Costa meets a stalwart of the Qld Garden Show, and Clarence joins students for some hands-on horticulture.
