Friday saw Seven win its first overnight ratings of week 14. Seven won all markets except Sydney that was won by Nine while Nine won across the key demographic groups. Nine, 10 and SBS improved on the previous Friday with Seven and ABC each down about 1 share point.

6pm News again topped the program rankings. At 7pm ABC News was ahead of A Current Affair. Seven again used split coding for The Latest that lost audience from the previous week, while The Project, that usually sees its Friday audience abandon FTA posted its highest Friday number since August 2016.

ABC’s Gardening Australia was the top rated non-news prime-time program ahead of Seven’s Better Homes and Gardens. 10’s Easter With The Women’s Weekly could only manage 27th place. Split programming on Nine saw Escape to the Chateau 19th in Sydney, 24th in Adelaide and 32nd in Perth. The Greatest: NRL Grand Finals was 27th in Sydney and 29th in Brisbane.

Arguably Gardening Australia’s biggest win in the 7.30pm timeslot.
9Gem topped multichannels for the third night in a row thanks to James Bond movies.

And with no sign of the living room this should ring alarm bells. They abandoned the time slot and I doubt the new version of the living room will be able to bounce back. That’s if they are even able to go into production given the current situation.

Agree. The Easter with the Women’s Weekly rated poorly for 10, coming in at 27th place.

Having no Living Room/ or other lifestyle-type in that timeslot in recent-weeks may not have helped the special?

The Latest also split up its ratings again. To boost the 7pm portion that goes against ACA.

The Latest is out performing H&A, surely they would be tempted to keep it running than return the lower rated show…

Tv good for a Friday with no sport, everyone in lockdown mainly watching news programs.

–

The Latest a couple of hundred thousand higher than what BH&G had been pulling at 7pm on Fridays, levels not seen for the latter in a few years.

BH&G in a different timeslot at the moment remember.

Is it? 7 don’t show Home and Away on fridays so I don’t really understand that comment. It’s figures have been roughly the same during the week and the demos worse than Home and Away I am not sure they want to get older and I don’t think they would be tempted at all.

Wow! Is that a new record?

There’s probably a chance that a possible review of Easter with The Australian Women’s Weekly on Gogglebox (which for obvious reasons, I’m expecting to be considerably softer/more positive than the absolute grilling the 2015 special on Nine got) will get higher ratings than the original/full airing of the show? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

@TV.Cynic
What was the Ratings numbers for the NRL Greatest Grand Finals on Nine.??

Thanks…

No posting of numbers not on the list is allowed.

I did post where they ranked which was poor.

Oh ok, didn’t know you had an agreement with Oztam about not being allowed to show the Ratings numbers.
Because I do know another site but don’t post anything on weekends, have to wait until Monday to finally see the Ratings Numbers, at least I’m very happy you do post some Ratings info on weekends.

Thanks for doing that for us, much appreciated.!
Cheers, many thanks…
Have a great night & weekend…!

Well that applies to 90% of shows Gogglebox previews.

Follow the link on this tweet.

Great… Thanks for letting me know this info.
Where’s the Foxtel NRL Numbers, only shows AFL.
And can you write comments on their website, can’t find it.??

Every website and media organisation is limited in what they can show. They are only showing the top two there. That must be their restriction. If you want more, then you have to pay OzTam for the full results.
