This year’s Origin series was also his first. Though Voss is my preferred caller - and it’s been awesome to see him get game time - I hope Smith recovers from his surgeries and gets back behind the mic when he can.

> Fox Sports has pulled off a stunning coup after signing Luke Keary to a deal for the next three years.
>
> Keary, who will be part of the Seven Network’s coverage of the upcoming World Cup, only made the switch to broadcasting this season, but he has taken to it like a fish to water.
>
> The former South Sydney, Sydney Roosters and Catalans playmaker has been must-see television while working across Fox League and Seven, where he is a member of the Agenda Setters panel.
>
> From next season, however, he will be exclusive to Fox League as he works across the game day coverage and the magazine shows.

Ah yes, it’s a _“stunning coup”_ to sign someone you already employ to an exclusive contract…

The coup part is he won’t be able to do The Agenda Settlers on Seven so it’s a valid use of the word.
