I raised this issue a few weeks ago. Difference with 2015 and 2027 is that Perth has a new stadium and hosted the recently-completed women’s edition. Ten/Paramount would love a home Men’s Asian Cup in January 2027 on the back of the Women’s Asian Cup last month

During that time of year, I assume that the new Perth Stadium would be in use by the Perth Scorchers of the Big Bash League, so any stadium used by BBL teams have been ruled out. The most likely venues that can be used include AAMI Park in Melbourne, Accor Stadium and the SFS in Sydney and the Cauldron in Brisbane, maybe Canberra Stadium and Robina Stadium.

Yep. Perth Scorchers can relocate to Manuka if Optus Stadium is selected. Perth didn’t host any matches the last time the Men’s Asian Cup was in Australia.
Glory and Western Force moved out of HBF Park earlier this year during the Women’s Asian Cup. I know West Aussies won’t like to see their beloved cricket team head east next summer for a football tournament
Perth relocated in 2021-22 after just one match at home due to COVID of course. Scorchers would have to do so after Boxing Day. The Women’s Asian Cup forced the West Coast Eagles and Fremantle to play Round 1 away from Perth last month. Relocation for the Scorchers will not go down well with fans
