Man United. Chelsea.
Both sacked coaches at start of this year. Both are enjoying 3-game winning streak as a result. Both wins 3-2 this matchweek.
Both Europe-bound now (4th & 5th respectively).
Saturday night 11.30pm AEDT, MU will play Spurs. Whatever happens there will happen in Chelsea-Wolves. Hope that saves you some time.
There might have been a time with Crazy ol David Gallop when NZ’s teams future was in doubt but I’ve heard reliably enough that Auckland especially were need to basically keep this league afloat ($$$), along with the injection of TV money from NZ they wouldn’t get if it was an Australian only comp. Now the clubs own the comp there is zero chance of NZ going - in fact I wouldn’t rule out a third NZ team.
Arsenal will face Manchester City in the EFL Cup final after both teams won their semi-finals against Chelsea and defending champion Newcastle respectively.
Although could have been 3-0 had Sesko not decided to mercy-rule here. (His header was very soft and went straight to the GK.)
Glory, Glory Man United!
Close but no cigar Adelaide!
