People looking to get rid of their expensive Foxtel contracts? The same people who subscribe to Foxtel just to watch Sky News and other news channels streaming there. I can’t see this being an overly expensive venture. They’ve already got the technology, the experience operating two other streaming ventures and aggregating streams for some companies they’ve been working with for a while & new ones keen for the additional exposure and revenue. It’s not for me as a stand-alone steamer, and probably a lot of others. The real opportunity here for them you’d think is offering some kind of bundle for Kayo + Binge and now this. ---

Wouldn’t surprise me to see a free/discounted subscription to Flash included as a sweetener for those who subscribe to News Corp newspapers (being under common ownership). ---

🙄 Would you rather go back to the old model of paying $100+ a month when you can get Binge and Flash for $10 each and Kayo for $25. That is a BARGAIN compared to the past 30 years… ---

It is already in one place, it’s called Foxtel Now. They just need to fix that mess. I’d expect/hope new Foxtel Now changes to come with the new iQ5 ---

Na that’s no good. You still have to pay $25 for basic then another $25 for sport then another $20 for movies when you can get all that on the three individual services for half the price. ---

Exactly, while it’s split across 3 apps, this is definitely the better deal financially. It’s a bit hard to see without signing up - are the Foxtel movie and kids offerings part of Binge’s catalogue? ---
