International feed for Lions-Cowboys (W6) over FOX feed this morning.
7 had the Fox feed
The only pattern I can see here is that the lead broadcast from each network (except Prime Video, and maybe ESPN unless ESPN are just choosing to give us their own feed) in each timeslot gets the World Feed treatment.
The early timeslot lead broadcasts Washington @ Baltimore (CBS #1 on ESPN) and Tampa Bay @ New Orleans (FOX #1 on 7mate) got world feed, while a lower ranked game Cleveland @ Philadelphia (FOX #3 on ESPN2) got domestic feed.
Likewise in the late timeslot, Detroit @ Dallas (FOX #1 on ESPN) got world feed while Atlanta @ Carolina (FOX #2 on 7mate) got domestic feed.
And SNF is getting world feed as usual.
It really is quite bizarre and hard to figure out.
The graphics for the world feed are basic and fine but they lower the production value a bit compared to the US broadcasters who have more pizzazz and polish.
True, and they lack a lot of the stats which are briefly popped up by the host broadcasters.
The only place they really seem to work well is on the NFL Network games as most of the elements of the NFL Network package have a matching element in the World Feed package so nothing is really missed.
ESPN will show the 2024 Baseball World Series between New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers, starting with game one today with pre-game coverage at 10.30am AEDT and first pitch at 11am AEDT.
The way MLB TV rights work is weird - we’ve had US TV coverage all year on ESPN, but for the World Series we have to have an internationally focused coverage rather than Fox’s coverage.
Yes I saw that for game 1 and it’s terrible. It would be much better to have the Fox broadcast.
The alternate, animated telecast of the December 9 showdown between the Cincinnati Bengals and Dallas Cowboys will feature a fully immersive Simpsons experience conveying the actual on-field action. It will be brought to life by writers and voice talent from the long-running Fox animated series.
Internationally, the special presentation will be available on linear or streaming in more than 145 markets live and/or via replay. Among those, all Latin America including Mexico and Brazil, the Caribbean, Australia & New Zealand, Netherlands, Sub-Saharan Africa and in Canada via TSN. Video on demand will also be available 12 hours after the live broadcast ends in these and other markets.
Looking forward to this
ESPN using international feed for its Black Friday game (Raiders-Chiefs) rather than Prime Video’s feed.
Do remind you that ESPN heavily uses its Prime Video feed during TNF produced games.
Seven is taking Prime Video’s feed.
Really wish we wouldn’t get the world feed for any games. It really diminishes my enjoyment as a casual NFL viewer in Australia.
No 7 is also taking the international feed.
I’m sure there’s a good reason why ESPN’s AusNZ social is clipping from NBC branded coverage yet the channel is showing WF graphics - often missing key information.
The Simpsons Funday Football alternate viewing presentation will be available to watch on ESPN2 and Disney+ across Australia and New Zealand, with the traditional Monday Night Football telecast on ESPN.
Viewers can watch on ESPN2 and Disney+ from 12pm AEDT, with the traditional Monday Night Football broadcast on ESPN live at 12.15pm AEDT.

- Bills vs Rams (FOX)
