A little bit of AI was spotted on the cold open of tonight’s Sunday NFL Countdown.

ESPN AU/NZ have made the McDonald’s Touchdown graphic smaller and moved it top-left to work with the new NFL graphics package. The Ford Field Goal though is still the old template and obscures the top portion of the scoreboard.

ESPN using the world feed for the Chiefs vs Broncos replay.

Didn’t ESPN US have commentary and graphics for Chiefs v Broncos? It would have been simple for ESPN Australia and NZ to replay the US match call.

Well that’s certainly a new level of weird.

I’m used to them using whatever feed (often World Feed) they originally aired as the feed for their replays, and using the domestic US broadcast for Minis regardless of what they used for the original broadcast.

But I have never seen them use any feed other than their own for a game in which they were the host broadcaster. That they’re using a world feed version of their own game as a replay is truly bizarre.

New watermark for ESPN spotted during Lions-Bills TNF W2.

And speaking of TNF, the NFL World Feed is now under the TNF banner.

New NBL graphics, it’s giving NBA2K27 & NBC graphics

Must be part of the new rights deal that the world feed is used.

Looking at the NBA broadcast guide, there are 8 pre season games that are exclusively on Disney+ while only 1 is on ESPN.

I wonder if Disney+ will be used for NBA TV or local team broadcast games that ESPN sometimes airs during the regular season if it’s clashing with NHL or NFL etc

Silly question, but I’m going to ask it anyway…

Is there a difference between the version of ESPN on Kayo and the version of ESPN on Disney+?

Stuff that used to go on the ESPN app is now on Disney+ (NHL games, random college sports and Dutch soccer for example). For some reason during NBL games they have 2 feeds available with one of them not having a watermark and not going to adbreaks during timeouts.

Main channels seem to be the same though (maybe different ads or something).
