âFrom 10th June, we will have the Doctor Who classic episodes back on BritBox â s1-26 plus the movie, over 350 hours of content,â a spokesperson tells TV Tonight.
âNo newly discovered episodes will be included at this time. We hope to expand this collection to include more Doctor Who episodes in the future and are currently looking into it.â

Doctor Who Axed (sort of)
Christmas Special cancelled, RTD and Sony owned Bad Wolf studios exit the series.
Two insiders said it was a mutual parting of the ways after all sides realized that Doctor Who required a level of surgery that could not be masked by the sticking plaster of a festive episode. This creative surgery is expected to take years, potentially keeping the show off TV until 2028 at the earliest, sources said.
To be honest, I think a rest is a good idea. Just wish they hadnât left the cliffhanger so open. But I feel theyâll need to come back with a soft relaunch and a new doctor from scratch, and Billieâs appearance can be explained away in an audio drama down the track.
IMO keeping the cliffhanger even more open wouldâve served them better.
Ending the episode mid-regeneration without seeing who the next Doctor is wouldâve allowed them to pick up from scratch similar to Troughton/Pertwee (or Baker/McCoy) and circumvent the Billie problem entirely.
Agreed, especially if they donât have a plan in place
