There is a slight difference Triple M on the Gold Coast and TRIPLE M for Brisbane.
They still differentiate the RDS on FM too still, don’t they?
92.5MMM and TRIPLE M ??
Crazy RE Triple M DAB text… Such a simple thing.
Yes they do
How long has Zoo, Gorilla, dance super digi and fun been blank for?
Comparing the "multichannels’ between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. CADA on the GC multiplex is a few seconds behind Brisbane.
For the SCA stations the Gold Coast stations seem to be on average about 2 songs ahead of Brisbane (at this stage of the day); possibly due to cutting out some content.
Message:
"Hot Tomato is currently undertaking test transmissions on 208.064 MHz from our transmission site at Mt Tamborine. If you believe these transmission are causing interference … ’ (or something close to that).
At least a couple of months for some of them, others have been blank since last year.
So kinda just sitting there doing nothing… what a precious waste of “finite resource”.
Something about it just doesn’t sit right with me.

Great list! What is it?
Hot Tomato Gold?
Yes - sorry - I updated the list and removed the station name.
I’m logging the DAB+ output again this morning fro HT Gold.
Also logging the RDS output from Zinc 96 to compare.
Good ‘no crap’ music format but it’s no Conga Line As expected though given that it’s basically just an adapted version of the 2EC/2ST et. al log.
I would still rather listen to Breeze or 99.7 Redcliffe over that, though. In Canberra though with those other stations not available, HT Gold would be a winner. I wish they would put XL FM on DAB as 96.1 can’t really be heard in town.
Which regional town is next on the cards for DAB?
Yes agree. It’s good but I’d still prefer Breeze, Rebel or 99.7
See my post in the digital radio technical thread:
Hot Tomato Gold is now available on iHeart Radio.
Listening to Hot Tomato Gold right now online and the songs all sound slower than they should be!!!
Yeah about 65% I reckon.
Looks like a tomato that’s spent a little too long in the unloved section of the fridge! But then again, that might be intentional (and well played if so).
So same playlist as Zinc and slowed down to fill the empty (non-existent) ad breaks when they happen on Zinc? Or it is actually slowed to normal (album) speed rather than speeded up as they notoriously did (and maybe still do?) on AM radio back in the 80s.
