I remember that day…NRTV became Ten that day, went into the Jetsons movie as NRTV, came out as Ten NNSW.

I remember that too, it felt odd at the time in the week prior seeing some promos with the Ten branding but some with the NRTV branding. There was pretty much no trace left of the NRTV brand once the Games started though.

That WIN schedule implies that regional WA didn’t take the ‘Today Perth News’, which seems like an odd choice.
It’s crazy how much News Nine were scheduling with only Hot Seat between 3 and 7pm, as well as making news programming in the mornings - but then to still show hours old Nine News Now.

9 offloaded 2002 to 7 due to their football commitments and airing the FIFA World Cup in partnership with SBS. They were originally going to televise Manchester 2002 alongside the package they signed between 1998 and 2006

Maybe the people of Shellharbour wanted nothing to do with SBS? Maybe there wasn’t enough space on the paper? Maybe the paper couldn’t get the SBS listings for a fair and reasonable price?
