I heard that some old TV Weeks were being sold on eBay without the program guides. It’s just not TV Week without the guides. I’ve always asked the seller before bidding. ---

Most likely on weekends yes. Looking through the old guides, HSV often only went for 15 minutes on weekends too. ---

I think some stations around Australia at various times through the 50s/60s/70s didn’t have a weekend edition at all. ---

HSV7 had _Camera Seven_, GTV9 had _Sunday Magazine_. ATV0 had one as well but I can’t remember what it was called. ---

I wonder what the difference was between Willessee at 6 and Willessee at 7? Maybe one had more long form interviews? ---

(Seven tried it again a few years later with _Seven Sydney News_ in the 6.00 half-hour leading into _Seven National News_.) _Willesee At 7_ was the national show that was more conventional current affairs / interviews ---

Paul Makin was recently almost “axed” by the ACMA when they found his “narrowcast” station in Port Douglas, Fab FM, was not really narrowcast at all … after fifty years in the broadcasting business, Paul claimed ignorance of the rules and got off with an undertaking to be a good boy in future … ---

My memory is that Willesse at 6 wasn’t really working in the ratings, but Makin was worse and was a disaster. ---
