Kerry Packer would be at home watching Ernie’s Wheel and Don’s Wheel and when on the odd occasion he took a shine to a contestant who won the saucepans or some other prize he would ring Channel 9 in Melbourne to tell them to give the contestant the car, which was the major prize. That’s what this show is lacking - a person who has the authority to break the rules at random.
