Heinz needs to add garlic sauce to the ones they offer at stadiums.
It is part of Four Corners investigation which will be shown on ABC TV tonight.
Thanks for posting that story - although it has has really pissed me off. I will often pay a premium to buy products that are made in Australia. Now I find out that certain brands (Coles, Aldi and Leggos) are probably lying about the âAustralian madeâ promise. Not only that but people who are being treated like slaves are making the product.
Food supply chains may be complex but this product is tomato paste and tinned tomatoes. If you can trace where the one ingredient (tomatoes) originates then you shouldnât be in the grocery business.
Gotta love the ABC. These stories arenât reporting the news and what happened, they are conducting investigations and creating stories. So good.
I usually check labels to see where they are made. Seems like nobody can be trusted these days. I only bought the products that were made in Australia or Italy but now Iâm suss.
I checked one of the products in my pantry which I buy at Woolies and I knew was made in Italy. Now Iâm not sure whether it only uses Italian sourced tomatoes.
It says Italian Passata and Italian Tomatoes is mentioned twice. But it also says Made in Italy from multiple origins. So does that mean they may be importing cheaper ingredients, making it in Italy, then exporting to Australia? Are they getting away with it because they use some Italian Tomatoes but also imported tomatoes?
The issue I had with the report, is that all they said was the tests failed. They didnât actually go into detail and explain Aussie tomatoes have x amount of these specific minerals and Chinese tomatoes have x amount of these minerals and actually show data results.
so now itâs coming off as he said she said.
A collab that has gone beyond stupid. A beauty and skin care brand with a chocolate block.
The Cadbury Dairy Milk and MCoBeauty collaboration is a milk chocolate with a flowing hot-pink watermelon-flavoured fondant centre.
Itâd be funnier if they put the actual skin care cream in the middleâŚ![]()
I look forward to the Laxettes x MediaSpy collab.![]()
Iâd give this a go - specially if itâs zero sugar.
Mc o pukey block, sounds so disgusting.
Yeah. I canât imagine Watermelon and Chocolate tasting good together but the connection to make up is very weird.
I wonder how long it will be until some mistakenly eats the lip treatment thinking itâs chocolate?
how much can I pay you to do exactly that? ![]()
Itâs happened before. Garnier Fructis was criticised for making its hair care product labels and bottles look like smoothies and yoghurts and even calling it Hair Food which might confuse kids.
I have seen this âWe Wonât Weightâ ad from Eli Lilly on TV every night in the past month or so.
The newly released Energizer Ultimate Child Shield is the worldâs first 20mm coin lithium battery designed to eliminate the risk of burning if swallowed.
The new technology comes as an estimated 20 Australian children present to hospital emergency departments each week with suspected coin lithium battery ingestion.
The battery features Colour Alert technology, which dyes a childâs mouth blue when it comes into contact with saliva to indicate a possible ingestion.
It includes a non-toxic bitter coating intended to discourage swallowing, as well as child-resistant packaging.
