BINGE serves up the first look at new original series Deadliest Dinners Australia streaming September 9

BINGE today released the first look trailer for the adrenaline-fuelled new documentary series, Deadliest Dinners Australia, which is set to premiere on the DAZN entertainment streaming service on September 9 with new episodes dropping weekly.

The eight-part series follows Australian-born extreme adventurer, award-winning restaurateur and chef Mario Kalpou as he journeys across some of Australia’s wildest and most unforgiving landscapes in search of extraordinary ingredients.

Following the international success of Man Eats Wild and United Plates, Mario returns home with the same unwavering philosophy: food should be earned, understood and respected.

Mario Kalpou said: “For me, food has always been about far more than what’s on the plate. It’s about the people, the place and the journey it takes to get there. Deadliest Dinners is my most ambitious adventure yet, taking me into some of Australia’s most dangerous environments in search of extraordinary ingredients and unforgettable stories. I hope audiences finish every episode with a new appreciation for the wild places and incredible people behind every meal.”

In Deadliest Dinners Australia, Mario pushes his survival skills, experience and nerve to the ultimate test. From shark-filled waters and crocodile-infested rivers to remote cliff faces, tropical islands and the rugged Northern Territory outback, he ventures far beyond the supermarket in pursuit of Australia’s most remarkable ingredients. Each expedition demands local knowledge, meticulous preparation and the courage to face some of the country’s most dangerous environments.

Along the way, Mario teams up with guides, wilderness experts and Traditional Owners, whose knowledge helps him navigate unpredictable oceans, extreme heat, treacherous terrain and close encounters with Australia’s formidable wildlife.

Whether diving in great white shark territory, tracking a one-tonne buffalo, crossing crocodile-infested rivers or abseiling 70 metres down a sea cliff, Mario earns every ingredient before transforming it into an extraordinary meal cooked in the wild. Each episode is a celebration of adventure, survival and the connection between people, place and the food we share.

Deadliest Dinners Australia is an 8 x 60-minute series and is set to premiere exclusively on DAZN’s BINGE at 9am on September 9, 2026. Foxtel customers can also watch at 7:30pm on FOX8.

New Series Starring Carrie-Anne Moss, Noah Reid, Clark Backo And Hudson Williams YAGA Coming To Binge October 23

BINGE today released the official trailer for new eight-part series YAGA starring Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix), Noah Reid (Schitt’s Creek), Clark Backo (Letterkenny) and Hudson Williams (Heated Rivalry). The spellbinding mystery thriller re-imagines the myth of Baba Yaga and will premiere with a double episode on Friday October 23rd, followed by weekly episodes and a double episode finale on BINGE, DAZN’s entertainment streaming platform, and Foxtel On Demand.

YAGA is based on the hit play by Kat Sandler who also serves as writer, showrunner, and executive producer. It follows Rapp (Noah Reid), a private investigator who arrives in the small coastal town of Whittock, to investigate the disappearance of a young heir to a powerful fishery, Henry Park (Hudson Williams). He finds himself at odds with an apprehensive local detective, Carson (Clark Backo), a charismatic university professor with a taste for younger men, Katherine (Carrie-Anne Moss), and a labyrinth of enigmatic suspects, secret lives, and ancient magic.

Additional cast includes Sheila McCarthy, Megan Follows, Ezra Franky, Patrick Gilmore, Katharine Isabelle, and Hiro Kanagawa, along with Emilija Baranac, Georgia Acken, Anisa Harris, and Sam Krochmal.

David Frazee and Rachel Talalay serve as co-directors. Mackenzie Donaldson, Andrew Miller, and Carrie-Anne Moss are executive producers, and Charles Cooper is producer.

YAGA is produced by Blink49 Studios and Front Street Pictures, in association with Bell Media, with the participation of the Canada Media Fund (CMF), the Rogers Series Fund, and the Bell Fund.

The series is distributed internationally by Sphere Abacus, a Bell Media company. It has been acquired by Foxtel Group, a DAZN company, in Australia, AMC Global Media for AMC+ in the U.S., Sky in the UK and Ireland, Sky in New Zealand, and HBO Max in Europe (excluding UK and Ireland).

Episodes 1 & 2 of YAGA will be available to stream on BINGE and Foxtel On Demand from 6pm AEDT on 23 October. Episodes 3-6 will stream weekly and the series will end with a double episode finale on November 27th. Foxtel customers can watch the double episode premiere on Showcase 8.30pm AEDT on 23 October.

Anyone know why the new season of The Paper has no air date for Binge? All episodes premiered on September 9 in the US and all Binge is saying is “Coming Soon”. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Typical binge. I’ve been waiting for season 2 of this show. Again Australian audiences treated with contempt.
