Yes they do, it’s pretty much the best of breakfast shows from around Australia one after the other and Lu & Jarch. No better than ARN.

Makes me think that they should bring back the station close if they’re not broadcasting anythinh remotely useful. Or entertaining.

I wouldn’t be surprised if that happens to a degree, particularly in the smaller markets. Switch off the transmitters overnight, it’d probably save them money as they wouldn’t be making much ad revenue between 12-5am.

OH yes, bring it back, with all the trimmings. A proper technical sign-off, with callsigns, ownership details, transmitter locations, specifications, power output, national anthem, gimme gimme gimme. 
Sometimes the sign off was the most interesting and enjoyable thing they broadcast - shutdown at least returned the frequency to the way nature had intended.

Radio veteran Al Doblo announces retirement
Al Doblo told his Sunshine Coast listeners on air this afternoon that he will retire from radio at the end of 2026, after more than four decades in broadcasting, two of them as half of Nugget & Al on 91.1 Hot FM.
Al and Nugget came together on the Zinc 96 Breakfast Show in late 2008, and moved to Drive on 91.1 Hot FM in 2020.
2EC breakfast presenter, Kimmi Saker, has today celebrated 30 years hosting the program.

The music was good when it actually WAS a rock station. That was before ARN butchered its format.
It hasn’t been a rock station for quite some time. It’s just another ARN Regional.

It’s just a tamer version of what was before.
I loved Parkway & Motionless in White, previous format rules. They’ve just mainstreamed it, like a Rock AC
