Leisha Brodyk the new Breakfast co-host at Power FM Bega Bay
Leisha joins Brad Blissett on-air, having relocated from the Top End – where she spent nearly a year and a half hosting Breakfast on Darwin’s Mix 104.9 – to the New South Wales South Coast.
Oh wow. Dan (yet again) without a co-host in Darwin.
And it’s not the first time Leisha has left Dan for another market - she previously did that at ZooFM Dubbo.
She’s done well to last 18 months in Darwin, you have to be able to handle the heat. It’s not for me.
Sam & Ant to host Breakfast on Darwin’s Hot100
The Sam and Ant show is heading for the Top End, with Samual Mansfield and Anthony Johnston to host Breakfast at ARN’s Hot100 in Darwin.
The popular brekky duo from Goulburn’s 93.5 Eagle FM will be on air at Hot100 from October 13.
One year on from the demise of 4BC’s Laurel, Gary and Mark Breakfast show, Mark Hine has returned to radio, at his former network.
ARN has confirmed the Brisbane radio legend has been appointed its new Content Director for Star 102.7 and 4CA in Cairns.
Star Mackay and the Whitsundays Breakfast hosts Rach and Jake, Rachel Zonta and Jake Harvey, will wrap up the show in the next week with Jake moving to breakfast on the Gold Coast and Rachel taking the opportunity to focus on family.
Kaley-Jade Baker to host Star Mackay Breakfast in 2026
Kaley-Jade Baker will move into Breakfast at ARN’s Star FM Mackay and the Whitsundays in 2026.
Her Breakfast co-host is yet to be confirmed.
Kaley joins the brekky team following a powerhouse run in Afternoons.

Wave FM seem to have changed their ID slightly… now Wave FM 96 point 5 (the point is back).
I was about to ask - as some of their recent posts and PR have been referring to it in text as Wave 96.5. I thought they’d dropped FM from the name completely.
IMO, it always sounds better with the frequency first, as “96 point 5 WaveFM”.
You might be right about the FM… I’ll try to keep an ear out for if the FM is still in the ID… and I agree with your suggestion of 96 point 5 Wave FM!

I wonder if we’ll see an updated logo to reflect the drop of the FM from its name. I doubt it.

Doesn’t look like it as far as I can tell.
ARN might rethink that when they start seeing tiny Gold ratings in Brisbane on DAB only sticking out like a sore thumb compared to the other cities. If they leveraged 94.9 they would look a lot more respectable. The ratings for CADA in Sydney are boosted massively because of 96.1. They are presented as DAB only but that’s complete BS, everyone knows a big chunk of them are listening on 96.1
Never listened to the podcast, but I don’t think the upfront where they are tossing away shows for networked stuff is when you want the regional stations get “some love” - I think most would rather they forget about them so they get left alone.
Mix 104.9 have appointed Kathleen Gazzola as the new producer for the station’s multi ACRA winning radio show 360 with Katie Woolf.
Kathleen joins the ARN after two decades with Nine News in Darwin with roles including Executive Producer, Chief of Staff and Political Reporter.
She starts in her new role on Monday 3rd November.
