We can’t all be the same.

Yes, we can’t all be like absolute legends like Plugga, Paul Kelly, Mickey O, Adam Goodes, Buddy Franklin, me…

Um, was born in South Australia.

There are exceptions to the rule. Except me being a legend.

Is that another exception?

Gutsy win by the Crows tonight, beating Geelong by one point at Adelaide Oval, after being down to two interchange players for much of the final term.

Bulldogs came from 29 points down early in the third term to defeat Hawthorn by one goal at the MCG. The Hawks kicked eight goals by half time, but only managed one goal in the third quarter and scored five behinds in the final quarter.

It was Bulldog Cody Weightman’s first senior game in over 600 days. His team is now fifth on the AFL ladder, just two points behind Hawthorn.

EDIT: it was the first time since 1971 that the Bulldogs won six games by six points or less.

Western Bulldogs stormed back from 30 points down to upset Hawthorn.

Was thrilling to see! Good match, giving the hawks an upset.

To all those saying North Melbourne will halt Fremantle’s streak…

How are you feeling?

Never, ever, ever in doubt. Dozen in a row. Let’s go for baker’s dozen next vs. Geelong on June 18.

I didn’t realise the game was over

Fremantle kicked eleven unanswered goals after half time, making the final winning margin 124 points.

That makes it the equal seventh biggest loss in North Melbourne’s history, and the biggest win in Fremantle’s history. The Dockers also owns outright the longest winning streak by a WA-based AFL club.

I think they kicked the final 19 goals of the game.

It was a 122-4 run since Roos’ final goal.

Just make sure you’re not 35 points up on us halfway through.

That’s impressive for Freo, but very very ugly for North. One step forward, two steps back it seems.

A loss that shouldn’t have been.

Imagine Fremantle winning the rest of the way through and finish the season 22-1.

“So how did you lose that one game?”

“Err…”

It’ll have to be 46 points then

We did not play our best in Q4 of R1 and I firmly believe we would not be 12-1 if we had won that game, more like 10-3 with losses to the dogs, hawks and lions. Even though it was the first of the year, I feel it taught a valuable lesson in that whilst we are a good side, teams will not roll over and accept that (bar today).

It’s shaping up to be a cracker when Geelong come out west in two weeks!
