Fremantle had a poor first half, scoring 11 behinds in a row. It’s the first time since round 1, 2016 that the Dockers scored 11 points by half time.

What a huge turnaround for Fremantle, bouncing back from a 11-point first half to beat Sydney by 38 points. The home side kicked six goals to three in the third quarter, before exploding in the final term with nine goals (including six in a row) to the Swans’ three.
It’s the fourth time in club history that the Dockers scored 100 points in a half.
Josh Treacy finished the match with 4.4 and 18 touches for the Dockers, while Swans forward Charlie Curnow kicked 5.1 and teammate Errol Gulden had 30 disposals.

Freo has Crows & Blues to finish the season & I can see both being prime time games. Probably Thursday for Crows game & Friday for the Blues (if they are wildcard contenders)
Only one game at the MCG for Sydney and lost to Geelong, Brisbane (half a side out), Hawthorn and Fremantle away

Freo wore their NAIDOC guernsey last weekend for their away game against the Giants.
Last night was the Purple Starlight Game to raise funds for Starlight Children’s Foundation, in which this year they wore orange & purple socks.

Collingwood beat North Melbourne by four points in front of 48,369 fans at Marvel Stadium tonight. It was close all night with seven lead changes, and the biggest lead not exceeding 20 points. The Kangaroos held the lead midway through the fourth quarter, but the Pies’ Jack Crisp and Tim Membrey kicked the final two goals to put their team back in front.

Not for the first time this season, Geelong let slip a big lead to lose a match. This afternoon the Cats were 39 points in front of GWS during time-on in the third term, the Giants only kicked three goals up to that point. However the home side raised the intensity and scored eight of the next nine goals to win by 13 points.
Hawthorn bounced back from last week’s embarrassing loss to Melbourne with a 64-point thrashing of Carlton at a wet MCG tonight, ending the Blues’ seven game winning streak. After both teams kicked two goals in the opening term, the Hawks broke away with 13 of the next 17 goals in the next three quarters.
