Triple M coverage for Round 12 - It will cover all six matches this round. Strangely, Demons v Swans this Saturday will be broadcast in Sydney only on digital radio, even though the analogue frequency is available (the NRL clash between Sea Eagles and NZ Warriors won’t be heard on Triple M Sydney).
Ebony Marinoff, her former Crows teammate Talia Radan (coach of West Adelaide in SANFLW) and The West Australian reporter Jordan McArdle are expert commentators for the ABC’s call of Adelaide v West Coast on Saturday.
Triple M coverage for Round 16 - SA and WA will both get Richmond v West Coast and Fremantle v Port Adelaide on Sunday. Sydney misses out on Essendon v Sydney on Saturday afternoon.
Herald Sun reports that the latest footy radio ratings show that 3AW and Triple M are the big winners, both posting pleasing numbers. Jimmy Bartel and Mark Allen’s Sunday Sport program, airing Sundays from midday to 2pm, is a winning combination doing well for 3AW, rating 12.4. SEN remained the same at 2.7 overall.
Kevin Bartlett makes his return to 3AW Football today for Hawthorn v Adelaide at Marvel Stadium, according to Mark Allen on Sunday Sport just now. It will be Bartlett’s first call since Round 1.
