###The Tiny Tots Talent Agency

From Wednesday 4 May at 8:35pm

Finding the superstars of the future is a massive business. Take a look inside Bizzykidz, one of the largest children’s talent agencies in the UK, to enter the extraordinary and competitive world of young stars, wannabe models and some of their powerhouse parents, many of whom are chasing fame and fortune before they’ve even left school.

Bizzykidz Talent agency is run by no-nonsense owner Debi, who alongside her team, navigates the careers of over 1,300 wannabes. From models to actresses, singers and dancers, they cover the full spectrum of the performers of the future. Debi has an eye for what could make a star, looking beyond age or a pretty face to see whether or not they have the right character to make it in the business. It is here at Bizzykidz that these careers are created and we circumnavigate this sometimes cut throat industry, whether you are 6 or 16. According to the agency no age is too young to start a busy career in the industry, modelling is one of the only professions where you can start working within a few days of being born. You can even have your face splashed across billboards and social media accounts before you’ve spoken your first words. Whether you are the son of an exbanker, a pair of sisters both trying to make it big or a 10 month old whose mother wants to be able to afford private education, there are a whole range of motivations for wanting to become a star, and we’ll meet them
all.

This observational documentary series will follow these children and their parents from the highs and lows of competitive casting to winning some of the most exciting jobs in show business. From dressing as zombies in the rain, jetting off to the Caribbean for a modelling shoot and appearing in a West End show we observe the pressures of trying to make a name for yourself under not only the spotlight, but also the watchful gaze of mum
and dad.

###Rise of the Super Vloggers

Wednesday 8 June at 9:30pm

With YouTube over ten years old, vloggers now sell out stadiums and have fanbases boy bands would kill for. Jim Chapman, himself a superstar vlogger with quarter of a billion views of his videos, takes us behind the scenes of the biggest vloggers on the planet.

Jim meets Tyler Oakley, whose vlogs have earned him an audience with President Obama. He hangs out with Ingrid Nilsen, whose ‘coming out’ video drew an audience of twelve million and hears from her viewers about the impact it has had on them. He visits Alfie Deyes, who is now immortalised in wax in Madame Tussaud’s alongside his vlogging girlfriend Zoella. We hear from KSI about how a vlogger from Watford U.K. was named by Variety magazine as more influential than Taylor Swift, and from Joe Sugg, whose latest movie became the fastest selling DVD on Amazon.

Jim investigates just how powerful vlogs can be to legions of fans and how vlogging is being used for everything from sex education to supporting those with mental health conditions. He also investigates the darker side of vlogging, from inappropriate interactions with young fans to prank videos that lead to abuse. Jim asks just what makes vlogging so popular, and where its future lies.

Production for BBC3.
