I noticed Ben Knight has his own headshot now. Seems inconsistent in its use, tonight and Sunday this week, other nights it’s the Tam and a Isk one.

I wonder if there’s been a change of management at ABC News in Melbourne?
Ben Knight is great. And, with absolutely no offence intended, it’s been a long time since we’ve seen a “pale, male and stale” news presenter on there. Paul Higgins would have been the last. Seems like they’ve been avoiding the “species” for a long time until now. So the current stint has been good for Ben. But an intiguing change of direction!
Alexandra will present the Friday and Saturday bulletins in Victoria next week, as posted above.

In our house we call Alexandra ‘Mini Tamara’, because she has clearly sat under Tamara’s learning tree - her enunciation and cadence are almost identical!

We got our answer on Tamara in tonight’s bulletin. Her choir breaking a world record was the colour story, and Ben mentioned that she was on long service leave.

How someone who’s never there has built up enough long service leave is amusing. Long service leave would insinuate someone had completed a long period of service.

Lorna Dunkley is presenting the 3pm bulletin. Kathryn appeared to have a issue with her voice during the 2pm bulletin.
She’s been at the ABC since 2003, which is 23 years.
