Just spotted on NC vs. the same story on the website. Apparently they can’t write two lines anymore.
Did they actually pay a consulting firm to do these changes? It looks so cheaply done. The reason the font sizes were that way were for consistency, longer headlines need a smaller font.

Sounds like they wasted tax payers money by hiring the firm that did News24 gastly graphics.How many times does the ABC need to refresh their over use of graphics and slides?

No. I don’t watch the NC often so what I’ve gathered from today is that it (alongside Afternoon Briefing) have banned the use of lower thirds now.
In its place are just the show names residing in the L3 area during split screens.
