This was on ABC News channel but quite a bit was also shown on the commercials though not the complete statement.

Bruce Lehrmann is contemplating suing the ABC over its decision to live broadcast a statement made by Brittany Higgins outside court after his trial was aborted.

The World:

In a live interview and related YouTube video on December 7, 2022, the ABC reported allegations made by the National Federation Party that Fiji’s attorney-general had visited an election printing centre on December 1 and ordered CCTV cameras be turned off. The report failed to report that the printing of the ballot papers had finished, and the ballot books had been transported before the alleged incident took place. Fijian Elections Office has found allegations were disingenuous. The ABC has deleted the YouTube video.

Qld A/Premier news conference re: SeaWorld helicopter tragedy.

ABC News 24 showed it at 12.38 - 14 minutes after 7Brisbane- labelled Steven Miles as “Deputy Premier”… he’s “Acting Premier” while AP is on a break. Then cut him off at 12.40 saying “we’re having technical difficulties”. Then back to him, then abandoned the story.

Would that also be the bulletin that airs on foxtel?

Could the ABC present a late night or early morning bulletin out of London or Washington DC? Would be pretty cool.

I think it would work if it was a program with Europe-based or American-based stories but otherwise can’t see it working.

Seems like a pretty pointless exercise if it is just a regular bulletin.

That’s the last thing the ABC needs. They already focus too much on cheap and irrelevant content on Tump’s latest bowel movement.

The World is quite tired. If anything, that should be reworked to Asia Pacific Tonight
