Good to see Ally Langdon win this award.
A Current Affair has a long history of winning Logies. Jana Wendt and Ray Martin have won the Gold Logie for their hosting duties. Now, Ally has won a Silver Presenter award.

I’d wondered last night if Ally might’ve deep down also been accepting it on behalf of her career? She did mention 60 Minutes prominently and also like Cameron got a bit overwhelmed and emotional. She does go back a long way at Nine, 2001 IIRC as a young journo, think she was there when the Twin Towers came down and got to see Hendo sent off as well.

On a random note, A Current Affair does have a decent presence in Queensland.
Two of last night’s stories were based in the state, and another story involving a now-Queenslander about an event that happened in Victoria.
Based on their number one news, they seem to like the tabloid stories.

The fake gossip about Knight’s alleged involvement has been circulating at Nine for days - fuelled by the fact she once co-hosted the Today show with Gardner.

I mean any anchor would be technically.
But she was there that day ready to do the show (or at least record it during the day). They wouldn’t have called her in just to jump in with Mark.

I think that might have been a one off and late call up on the day. There was speculation last year that the Saturday edition is pre recorded on the Friday.
