Wow. I just saw something pretty cool.
I’m watching Nine News on 9Now and I just saw a specialised commercial for my direct suburb for the upcoming local election. Literally the member for my suburb.
Pretty cool to see them be able to do that.

What feed (in which suburb) of Channel 9 was it on? Or was it another one of those Server-Side Ad Insertions?
They can do this on Tubi as well.
I’ve noticed different advertising on the streamed versions of 9 and 7 during the evening news bulletin compared to over-the-air. I’m in Melbourne.
Channel 9 audio is ridiculously low on the Apple TV. The other 9 channels are fine - it’s just 9 itself that is woeful.

Interesting info from 9:
FAST channels are revolutionising TV streaming, offering advertisers unique, targeted opportunities. With six channels launched to date, 9Now’s 24/7 FAST offering has quickly become a market leader, with titles such as Seinfeld at No.1 since launch, 9Crime at No.3, and 60 Minutes at No.9 of the top 10. The momentum continues with the recent addition of fan favourite, The Block.
With just 60 second ad breaks, FAST channels provide a premium, less cluttered environment that drives stronger audience engagement. The lighter ad loads and genre-based content allows brands to connect with highly engaged, targeted viewers in a more impactful and efficient way.

It’s very annoying.
