This startling story reveals hidden truths about Ruth’s murder of her lover, the legal case surrounding it and those who were also complicit.
Set in 1955 in the glamorous and intoxicating world of London club-land, Ruth found acclaim, aged 28, as the capital’s youngest club manager.
But her success soon unravelled as she became entwined in a passionate but abusive relationship with racing driver David Blakely.
Following her murder of David, Ruth exchanged this dazzling, glamorous world for the cells of Holloway jail.

A previous Ten staple in the 2000s, recently on 9Now and I think late night on broadcast?
Wonder if it might end up on 7flix, say Thursdays, to complement its current and seemingly successful line-up of L&O franchise, CSI franchise and House? Or even daytime. @aarontvcentral will know.
I would have to enquire. Usually these 7flix titles have 1 run for FTA - that is why you see American Crime, The Black Donnellys, etc etc have a single run on FTA and remain 7plus. CSI, etc was a completely different special deal.

I might be reading too much into this. However, the last “Premium VOD streaming” sub-point seems to suggest Seven is planning to launch a subscription element to 7Plus during this financial year.

I read that as a redesign of the site or something similar. I mean the website can be clunky sometimes so it would make sense.

7+ premium.. I feel like I suggested this years ago as 7’s alternative to 9’s Stan. It could be slowly introduced and expanded as part of 7+
Or why not 7PIRME - just reuse the old Prime TV elements.

Well, they could revive Presto. It was originally a Foxtel streaming service but then Seven bought into it. Later, Foxtel bought them out and made the decision to shut down streaming to protect its Pay TV assets. Rather short sighted plan.

I think you guys are reading too much into it. In the line “Premium VOD streaming” the term “premium” sounds like they are saying “high quality” not “we’re putting it behind a paywall”.

Does Foxtel still own the Presto trademark? If not, SWM should gets its hands on Presto and use it as the name of the premium streaming service.
