Hasn’t been in production for many years now, since mid 2021, so I think the answer is fairly obvious.
I noticed yesterday Seven changed 7flix’s daytime line-up (12-3pm) due to being a Public Holiday for Victoria markets, but they just decided to alter it nationally. So the usual “M” zone programming (Buffy re-runs in this case) had to be pulled.
Seven main channel usually an M made-for-TV movie wasn’t relevant, due to network sport (Sydney horse racing) commitments.
9Gem also had to do the same but Vic only, I think it was The Young and the Restless taken off or a lower classified ep replaced.
10’s I believe were all conveniently G or PG anyway.
ABC and SBS channels did not, there was at least one rated M, but they have different Codes, so must be allowed.
Will Judge Judy still be on 10 as well?
There are so many seasons available, it could be split between broadcasters like we see with other series.
Of note, 10 also have a Judge Judy FAST channel on 10 play.
Does anyone know of any returning shows awaiting for 7flix?
According to my notes, The Goldbergs was the last new content show awaiting return and that has returned and is now finishing up.
7flix earlier played out some shows on Saturday afternoons and late night but I cant see any shows where, for example, they have played season 1 and season 2 has not aired yet.
Unless I am wrong, everything is played out, so the channel fully relies on repeats or acquisitions of ‘classic’ shows.
Are there any updates on this?
Sort of
It has been taken in and out of the schedule a few time and now TBA’s for it to come in.
Just ironing out parts of the deal
I noticed in your TV Central guide the channel is adding a movie to Wednesday nights, with some Ramsay dropped. Unless just a once off, the first significant change since L&O re-runs were successfully added to Sundays and Mondays 2 years ago.
Yes that is because there is a whole different line-up coming to Tuesdays.
That will be revealed soon
Can finally announced 7pm weeknights fo Judge Judy Monday 16 December.
Tuesday nights from 17th will be:
7:30 CSI
8:30 New York
9:30 Miami
10:30 Cyber
does this mean 10 are going to be losing Judge Judy rights?
Cannot confirm but I don’t believe so. My understanding is that its a licensing deal.
I can confirm 10 will still be airing Judge Judy that same week in its usual 10am slot

Seven are going to have classification issues with CSI, all seasons of all series are rated MA15+, particularly with the original in that 7:30pm timeslot where MA can’t air. Unless Seven decide to cut, but that rarely happens for non-movies, let alone m/c shows these days. Especially Seven at least from what I’ve observed, too many resources like money/staff commitment/time to carefully review every episode, classify and potentially make edits, which does sound silly given it’s a rather serious matter and legal issue.
In fact even the very first two episodes of the entire francise from 24 years ago (CSI S1 ep1 “Pilot” - available on the CB website portal) was rated MA by the Classification Board back in November 2004 for its first DVD release. So good luck to Seven’s regulatory affairs/classification department, will be interesting to see and if they try and brush under the table or short cuts and potentially breach the ACMA TV Code.
My guess, to avoid possible regulatory/legal problems, they’ll have to review the CSI seasons for that 7:30pm timeslot, which I noticed they did do the past couple of years with L&O: Criminal Intent and gave them all individual or a blanket rating (such as “M” with “Some Violence and Mature Themes” or others like “Drug References” where needed) and the one or two episodes that fell into “MA” were classified as such in accordance with the CB’s rating and aired uncut but in a different schedule, a later timeslot, such as 7flix programming a once off double-episode or something.
And the other shows (Miami, New York and Cyber) will probably just air uncut as MA in their allowed later 8:30, 9:30, 10:30pm timeslots.
DVD releases and TV classification can be quite different but I am sure they allowed for this
I guess if they have too many issues with the 7:30pm timeslot that they could as a last resort air triple episodes of Judge Judy. There are that many episodes of that show made, it wouldnt be hard to fill the slot (unless they decided to air double episodes of The Simpsons at 7:30pm)
Maybe Nine can supply Seven with the version they originally aired in the 8:30pm slot 20 years ago with an M rating.
