66th TV Week Logie Awards 2026

Home and Away and Neighbours and other Long Running Australian Shows should be invited every Year Nominated or Not Nominated as long as they can fit all the Stars in the Venue Building and money for the Meals,Alcohol and the drugs at the After parties.
Has Karl Stefanovic been invited to this year’s Logies?

That is so bad. I hope the paper runs an apology to both the Logies and McGranger. It is a little puzzling that she herself wouldn’t have known, maybe she just took their word for it or the newspaper just made that up too.

The first appearance of Sarah Abo after she left Today due to her maternity leave. She is going to walk the Red Carpet I noticed but that list does not mention Karl Stefanovic though

Something to Talk About podcast interview with Robert Irwin

An excerpt as published in the Stellar liftout today

There’s a high chance you’ll win the Gold Logie while you’re also on stage as host. How do you prepare for that scenario eventuating?

Any recognition for me isn’t recognition for me, it’s for my message that I so proudly spread. My dad used to say it best: “I don’t care if people remember me. I do care if they remember my message.” How cool that Australia is ready for some bloke, an environmentalist, to be on that stage. But the most important hat I wear on the night is hardcore campaigner for Julia Morris. Everybody keeps asking me, “What’s your pitch to win Gold?”

I’m like, “I have no pitch. My pitch is that Julia Morris should win Gold.” Seriously, if you were gonna vote for me, vote for Julia. If you were gonna vote for anyone else, I’ll find you. I have venomous snakes at my disposal. I have saltwater crocodiles I can release on you! [laughs] I’m usually very mild-mannered, but when it comes to this, [she’s been nominated] five times. I love her to death, and it’s definitely time that she gets that Gold … I consider her a lifelong friend.

Apart from the Robert Irwin and Mick Molloy commercial on Seven, has there been any other ads promoting the Logies? There doesn’t seem to be a buzz compared to other years.

I know previous years, Seven over promoted the Logies, especially the Vote for the Gold ads. With their own stars being nominated. Now that was way too much!!

I dont want them over do the ads. Just in the middle.

Not sure about any other programs but they’ve been running a joint one for Micheal Usher and Most Popular News Coverage (or whatever the nomination was), mostly during the News. I vaguely remember seeing one for RFDS as well.

Has Nine been running any? I know SBS and Ten have.

When Nine was showing Lego Masters last month, I saw an ad calling for viewers to vote for Hamish Blake for most popular presenter.
