2SM 1269 Sydney

Just my 2 cents here. I listen to Brent Bultitude on a semi-regular basis and I think it is great he has Graham Richardson and Mark Latham as regular guests. Mark Latham does have strong views and I think having him in parliament asking the questions he does is healthy even though some say divisive. To me that comes with the territory of Parliament you do need debate these characters. Having everyone say yes isn’t great. The world needs more debate and less cancelling just because you disagree.

As a result he does have a target on his forehead so any issues there will be people who want him ousted.

If he has done the wrong thing then he needs to face consequences. In the meantime I think he can still have a voice whether you disagree or agree with his political views. I don’t agree with him all the time but listening to him on 2SM gives me one point of view. Just like I like to listen to Graham as well.

I like brent bultitude but i feel the network is covered in the cobwebs of the callers, live talk back is dangerous. Latham is a perfect example of a loose cannon that has learned to seem nice but lift up the carpet and theres your news cycle. He pointed out the obvious, being Jewish lobbying in Australian politics, the hatchet job ensued, but where there smoke…

Another brilliant idea from new 2SM (SRN) management:

Medieval Cities of the Mediterranean Cruise with Chris Smith -

Well done. Great idea - and another direct dig at 2GB.

So this is what hell on earth is like! Can’t think of anything worse than this, maybe cruising with Sky after dark crowd.

A cruise with Chris Smith - someone had better keep on eye on him, given his track record of drunkenness and sexpestery.

15 minutes in an I’d be jumping overboard. It would be like being super glued to park bench beside a retirement village.

The Chris Smith Christmas Cruise. A four day luxury trip with all the trimmings including turkey, the irresponsible service of alcohol, baubles and unwanted groping. The cruise finishes with an indefinite suspension for all guests and then a new career opportunity on 2SM.

The Cruise of (Anything But) Common Sense more like.

No disrespect to SRN listeners but not sure how many could fork out minimum $16k for single and $11k each for twin.

Considering the endless moaning about the cost of living crisis caused by the communists, not many id say.

Wonder what the Gareth Ward outcome means for the defamation case he had running against 2sm?

Such a true blue Aussie…

Please Joan, give Chris the boot, please, please, please!

What did he do now?

3 hours of anti Muslim, antivaxer, anti climate change pro fossil fuel dog whistleing and its the same everyday. Ive never listened to other stations so much in my life, the other presenters are also heading in the same direction. Sensible moderation and facts seem non existent.

Sadly, still more listenable than Mark Levy.

So the usual?

But Mr Levy gets more listeners - what does that tell you about 2SM? Even though Mark does sound like a bullfrog when he gets fired up.

Mark Levys bias towards Israel is the most annoying part of his show and he let’s very little time for people with a differing view. He cut someone off for talking about the Israel bombing people trying to get aid saying it was Hamas propaganda which is completely untrue and the fact that because 100,000 people attended the harbour Bridge rally was not a concern given that it equates to less than one percent of the population of Sydney. Missing the point entirely . Also saying that the bridge should never have been used for it and that certain members of the senior ministry of the Minns government should not have attended showing that he doesn’t have control over them which is ridiculous. If they want to partake then they should be allowed to do so.
Levy is still a Hadley clone it would be interesting how long his high ratings will continue.
Chris Smith should never have had Mark Latham on his show. He lost my respect for that.

You had respect for Chris Smith, best loss ever.

Many people had respect for Chris Smith… way back when he was presenting the National Nine Morning News about 20 years ago.
