The LNP only lost that election by 2 seats though - which under normal circumstances would be seen closely fought election. I guess the thinking was make all the cuts in the first term, take a hit in the 2015 election but hang on to power because their lead was so big. That arrogance proved fatal. ---

He was a good mayor. Awful premier. People who lost their jobs and suffered under his one term are still scarred from that time. ---

Agreed but, you could probably get away with it these days. Redundancies are a fact of life. And I think people are more open to taking redundancies and having a career break, change of career. ---

I reckon this will be the last ABC election with the current graphics (in use since SA 2022) new graphics will be in use for WA and federal elections next year. ---

In 2018, they launched a new package at the Victorian Election ahead of the 2019 Federal Election. In 2022, they introduced a new package at the SA election (with the 2019 style titles), before the Federal Election. ---

Marlina’s interview with the premier and opposition leader were both fine. But interestingly tonight when David Crisafulli was asked about policies, a bird interrupted by making a sound, and they were distracted. They never came back to any policy substance. ---
