Worthwhile coverage for Sky News and the ABC News channel. Don’t see why the main ABC channel nor Seven and Nine need to break into programming for what is ostensibly a formality. The campaign has been unofficially underway since January.

Previous years…. They used a helicopter. Surprised this hasn’t been the case this year.
Nine has switched their sports shows to 9Gem in Sydney and Melbourne - Sports Sunday now airing. For some reason, Brisbane has missed out.
Agree. I am also surprised that the ABC are doing the rolling coverage. They usually do this on ABC News. And once the PM begins his press conference, then the ABC can cut its coverage and show that.
The Footy Show normally airs at 10am in Melbourne but is nowhere to be seen. Sports Sunday is on 9Gem now but is scheduled for 12pm on Nine…
Nine have a camera directly outside the front door of Government House.
10 ran a ticker stating that news coverage starts on 10Bold at 10:30.
