A reminder that for the ratings period the network shares were very similar which once again raises the question of the need for a ratings period which currently seems to serve no purpose.

This is very telling

Nine won the 2020 ratings year even though its primary and network share were lower than 2019.
ABC, 10 and SBS all posted increases in audience shares.
The decline in Seven’s ratings share are concerning.

When you take off the 0.6 for the Food Network in 2019, the difference between 7 and 9 overall has remained exactly the same.
