It’s official Nine has won 2019 (albeit by a small margin) after 28-day consolidated.

Nine: The Nine Network has just won over the Seven Network in terms of network shares, thanks to the Ashes, Tennis, MAFS, CWC, ORigin, Lego Masters, The VOice, Australia Ninja Warrior, The Block. Nine won the demographics. I think Nine is on the way up. Nine will be on the way up during this decade (Possibly if Nine could consider partial broadcasting rights to the AFL in 2023?).
Channel Nine Perth was on the way up thanks to the Origin at Optus Stadium, and the Ashes (which had outrated Adelaide, Brisbane and even Sydney market on 9GEM and even on Nine). Kudos to Nine Perth. I think Channel 9 Perth will experience some growth in terms of primetime shares.
Seven: Despite having a tough 2019, Channel Seven should be extremely proud thanks to AFL, News, and Sunrise. Despite a lopsided AFL Grand Finale, it still topped Number 1 in terms of TV Programs. (If a Collingwood-Richmond GF, it would have rated much higher than the lopsided Richmond-GWS).
TEN: This year, Channel 10 had failures like Changing Rooms, Saturday Night Rove. However, 10 did reasonably well. Melbourne Cup was down from 2018, however it still rated well in top 20. The Masked SInger: THe FInal Reveal did exceptionally well. I even noticed that TMS: FInal Reveal just beat the State of ORigin Game 2 in Perth (I don’t know why?) NEtwork 10’s programs failed to cover top 20 in terms of consolidated increase.
ABC: Bluey was ranked Number 1 in terms of Consolidated ranked on increase. It recorded a substantial increase of 275%. Well done to Bluey. Also, Australian Votes Election did well, where it ranked in top 20 multichannel programs.
SBS: Despite its primetime shares going down from last year, SBS has done well in terms of the consolidated ranked on increase. Three programs (The Handmaids Tale, The Hunting and Years & Years) did well in terms of consolidated 28.
