With no more Bachelorette, a pretty bleak Thursday, most viewers will either split to Seven/Nine or switch off TV altogether. I think Seven will win, with a blockbuster X-Men movie and starting earlier than last week’s lesser movie, with an increase for OITNB and HTSM will drop.

Wednesday - Nine will win the night with the ARIAs dominating in the major demos.

Aria’s did over 500k last year, which I believe was up on previous and by any means today very respectable for something rather niche and very long. It was also against The Good Doctor which that night (bang on a year ago tonight) did over 1m metro.

However, with that taking up much of Nine’s night and little competition on other networks, Seven should win easily with first run factuals (both did well over 600k last week) and the seemingly sleeper hit 911.

Border Security new: 650k

Emergency Call new: 625k

Arias: 485k

Jamie Oliver: 425k (generous?)

Tonight should be a mirror of last week, with Nine winning. However Seven might narrowly win as 7mate will be well up with a more recent blockbuster movie than one over 40 years old

The Blake Mysteries: 775k

Used to do 1m+ on ABC with McLachlan. However with him gone, Nadine taking charge and 2hr ‘movie’ approach… Ratings will be well down.

Seven would surely be disappointed with anything under 600k, 400k would be a disaster. Maybe big time shift increases though? 800k+ would be terrific.

@JohnsonTV?

Disaster it was, according to Luke’s summary.

wheres your proof?

See Blake thread. Why would I make it up, FFS?

First night of summer non-ratings.

60 Minutes 40th Anniversary special: 775k

Sunday Night repeat: 575k

Movie- Love Actually (near 3hrs): 500k

Blue Planet 2 repeat: 485k

The restriction that no member can make more than three consecutive replies in any thread, means I was not able to post my ratings predictions for the past few days.
Anyway, I think tonight’s AACTA Awards will flop.

8th AACTA Awards 0.31m
