Apologies if this has already been mentioned - but why does 10 Play insist on running its own ads over the top of ones that go to air on the broadcast channel?
E.g. I’m watching The Cheap Seats on 10Play, and I get the 10 Play ads, but then come crashing into the middle of whatever ad the terrestrial channel is playing. And if I join the stream during a program (not in ad break), I have to watch the 10Play ads, and miss whatever I was supposed to be watching.
That’s a piss poor experience for the viewer. Run the ads in the break NOT in the middle of the bloody show.
Seems older shows use the old watermark, and newer ones now use the new 10 logo. Kind of miss the old one as that made sense given its on-demand - hence the play. Felt more creative IMO.
The perceived problem with the One and Eleven brands was there was no connection to the 10 brand. That was why 9 changed the original branding of its multichannels to include 9 e.g. Originally Gem became 9Gem etc.
Agreed but I don’t think it was that much of an issue when it comes to how the viewer perceives the channels. The branding and identity of the channels themselves were a lot more clean, clear and sleek.
If 10 still believe having a connection to the main channel is a priority, they’ve dogged themselves with Nickelodeon anyway.
