Deal Or No Deal Island Season 2 Winner

The Golden God Makes History With A Record-Breaking Win.

David Genat Wins Deal Or No Deal Island Season 2. Streaming Now On 10 Play.

In the epic season finale of Deal Or No Deal Island, David Genat has truly cemented himself as the ‘Golden God’ of reality TV, winning a whopping US$5.8 million, the largest cash prize ever awarded on network television.

The Australian Survivor champion went face-to-face with this season’s mysterious banker, who was revealed to be former Deal Or No Deal case model Chrissy Teigen. With host Joe Manganiello acting as the intermediary between the Golden God and Chrissy, it was a nail-biting finish that ultimately ended in glory.

Reflecting on his life-changing win Genat said, “5.8 million dollars I actually can’t even believe it. I knew I had it, I was feeling my dad was in there with me, God was in there with me. Oh, my goodness.”

Genat first appeared on Australian Survivor: Champions v Contenders in 2019, his bombastic gameplay was further glorified when he immediately returned to compete in and win Australian Survivor: All Stars, earning him the moniker Golden God as well as the reputation of being one of the best Australian Survivor players of all time.

But the former model kept his reality TV domination quiet while on Deal Or No Deal Island, and his alliance known as ‘The Family’ was a continuation of his excellent social and strategic gameplay he became famous for on Survivor.

Don’t miss a moment, you can now stream full seasons of Deal Or No Deal Island exclusively on 10 Play. And catch David and his Survivor co-star Parvati Shallow when they hit Survivor: Australia v The World coming soon to 10 and 10 Play.

I thought this one worth mentioning as David mentions the MDA clause, insurance payout and the fact that the final 2 briefcases were swapped.

And a refresh couldn’t come soon enough, c’mon 10.

Refresh what?

10 play… the whole thing. Other than the FAST channels t’s been pretty neglected since the last major update.

Obviously we know they’re dropping the play part to align it with the main channel, similarly to what 5 have just done in the UK.

If they could just fix it so it wouldn’t crash every time I try to rewind a few seconds, that would be great.

Goodbye 10Play - promo that “folded” 10 Play into just 10.

Still a lot of 10Play references in current promos.

That transition at the end was gorgeous. Judging by the youtube thumbnails, this might be a permanent thing.

The echoey voiceover is annoying.

Also noticed the Youtube profile picture has been inverted, with the “10” now being light blue and the background being white.

I meant to mention this a few weeks back about the blue used on the logo in their YouTube profile, it did sort of look like it might’ve been part of the refresh.

is there a video of the new promo as Pres Café had one but the YouTube channel that had the video was shut down.

10, 10Peach Comedy, 10Bold Drama and Nickelodeon are all missing from 10Play.

The live streams?

Appear to be there again. Have noticed from time to time some of the channels drop off, mainly the FAST ones, and show a blank 10 image with no program information.

Saw this at the petrol station the other day, advertising the 10 play BuzzFeed channel.

Seems like 10 is not only running out of ads to show, but also promos for both 10 and Paramount+ shows - just saw an Channel 5 promo (the UK station), while watching Neighbours this afternoon.

Must be something to do with their internal systems which are used across the Paramount group, similar thing has obviously happened with entire CBS News ads shown on 10 play for some time before being picked up.

Probably, did give me a bit of a laugh though
