Ratings: My Kitchen Rules tops Wednesday despite lowest rated week so far

Despite My Kitchen Rules recording its lowest rated week of this season, Seven’s cooking show still dominated every night it was shown, last night drawing an audience of 1.28 million.

It made for another easy win for Seven with a network share of 32.6%, up slightly from last Wednesday. Nine edged down to 25.0% with Ten improving to 17.6% and ABC (17,4%) and SBS (7.4%) steady.

My Kitchen Rules was up 27,000 week-on-week to 1,277,000 with Seven News (1,034,000 and 971,000) also improving. The season premiere of Criminal Minds had 700,000 with Home and Away slipping to 691,000. The afternoon’s The Chase had 578,000 and 353,000 with Blindspot later on 245,000.

Best for Nine were Nine News (963,000 and 905,000) and A Current Affair (839,000). Replacing last week’s Reno Rumble were two Big Bang episodes on 609,000 and 544,000. A split schedule saw Multi Million Dollar Mega Yachts on 226,000 in three markets and The (NRL) Footy Show with 189,000. In another twist to OzTAM creative coding Hot Seat was reported as two separate entries with 340,000 for the several minutes of the program that aired before 5.30pm and 534,000 for the last 30-minute segment.

Over on Ten, The Project had 561,000 and 394,000 to be the network’s best performer. Long Lost Family had 502,000 up from 490,00 the previous week with Ten Eyewitness News on 490,000 and Family Feud 447,000. Later, the movie The Heat had 367,000 fans.

Top ten entries for ABC were ABC News (807,000) and 7.30 (625,000) with The Weekly with Charlie Pickering (594,000) and Julia Zemiro’s Home Delivery (581,000) improving slightly. Luke Warm Sex was steady with 406,000 and Adam Hills: The Last Leg had 324,000.

24 Hours in Emergency (308,000), Walking Through History (265,000) and Vikings (242,000) topped SBS’s night.

Sunrise (322,000) was on top again at breakfast ahead of Today (298,000) and ABC News Breakfast (83,000 and 53,000). Following was The Morning Show with 173,000, Today Extra on 126,000 and Studio 10 with 85,000.
