Nine Network - Programs and Schedules

Could be an undercover expose but probably not. Just reading the description it is pretty obvious a thinly disguised advetorial.

I wonder if every night includes friday and saturday

yeah right, screw you NBN and WIN :frowning:

###The Embassy

Returns Wednesday 3 February at 8.30pm

The Embassy returns on Wednesday Feb 3 with more exclusive behind-the-scenes access as our diplomats come to the aid of Australians in crisis abroad.

Over a million Australians travel overseas every year. The Embassy takes us to the frontline as our diplomats serve to keep us safe and out of trouble in stunning holiday locations across Asia.

In these new episodes, we join our diplomats in Thailand, Vietnam and Laos as they respond to major catastrophes, hilarious escapades, devastating accidents, love gone wrong and everything in between.

Episode One takes us to Phuket where body-builder Nathan is on the holiday of a lifetime until he gets knocked off his Harley and it all goes seriously pear-shaped. The Thai police want to know who’s responsible for the accident, so why is he lying to police?

Meanwhile, in Ho Chi Minh City, 19-year-old student Paris is on her first-ever overseas trip. It’s the gap year adventure she always dreamed off – but it’s all about to come crashing down.

It is the family reunion like no other: the story of Australia’s amazing twiblings: Born of two different surrogates in two different countries and only a month apart. Now baby Ava’s been diagnosed with holes in her heart. Will a family that’s been 10 years and many tears in the making, ever be united?

And, what happens when a man and his dog go on a Thai holiday? They left Australia together, but will they both make it back home?

Summer lovin’ is about to get a new-age make over when Grease: Live is fast-tracked from the USA to premiere on Tuesday, February 2, at 8.30pm on Channel Nine.

Over the years, Grease has been enjoyed by generation after generation, transformed from 1971 music classic to 1978 feature film. In 2016, with an all-star cast, this special one-hour television adaption promises to become a favourite all over again.

The young cast includes: Julianne Hough (Sandy), Aaron Tveit (Danny Zuko), Vanessa Hudgens (Rizzo), Carlos Penavega (Kenickie), Keke Palmer (Marty), Carly Rae Jepson (Frenchy), David Del Rio (Putzie), Jordan Fisher (Doody), Mario Lopez (Vince Fontaine), Kether Donohue (Jan), Yvette Gonzalez-Nacer (Cha Cha) and Andrew Cal (Sonny).

###Million Dollar Hot Seat - Family Special

From Monday 1 February at 5.30pm

Australia’s longest running quiz show, Millionaire Hot Seat, presents a series of special family-themed episodes starting Monday, February 1, on Channel Nine.

Six families representing each state will go head-to-head in a battle to take home the million-dollar cash prize.

Each night for five nights, one member from each family will strive to be sitting in the Hot Seat in an attempt to win Australian television’s biggest cash prize.

Then, on Monday, February 8, each family will select their best player to return for one more shot at becoming instant millionaires.

Plus, the family that wins the greatest sum of money over the six episodes will be awarded an additional $100,000 jackpot.

Is this stretching the friendship like Biggest Loser Families?

they should trial the traditional format again. It was far superior to Hot seat, or look at the US daytime version.

Nine Perth will show a brand new documentary called Pub Bands: Legends of Perth tomorrow (Saturday) at around 7.30pm after the one day cricket match and Nine News. It is about the musicians who rocked the city’s pubs in the 1970s and 1980s.

Will be interesting to compare how many encores the various reality shows get during the first week. Also, how many Big Bang Theories will there be across the various channels including Foxtel.

Has Nine changed its mind regarding premiere dates of The Hunt (press release posted last week says it starts February 3) and Here Come the Habibs? I think the above schedule is just to fool other networks.

Why would they want to ‘fool’ other networks? Seven and Ten wouldn’t suddenly change their schedule based on those shows airing.

Not a bad show. It was on Discovery about a year ago.

Here Come the Habibs premieres Tuesday February 9 according to a promo tonight.

at 8.30 according to 9Now.

Nice of Nine to promote a Ten show by running the movie Limitless on Sunday night.

I doubt it will help.
