US character actress Ann Guilbert best known for playing grandma Yetta on 90’s sitcom The Nanny died on Tuesday aged 87.

Journalist and keen surfer Steve Gee died unexpectedly of a heart attack on Monday (Queen’s Birthday holiday) at just 45. He worked for Sydney’s Daily Telegraph for 22 years before becoming a sub-editor with AAP, then as a member of Wide World of Sports’ online team in May 2014.

Actor Anton Yelchin (best known for his role in J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek movie franchise) has died at just 27 after a freak car accident at his home. Police said Yelchin’s car rolled backwards down his steep driveway, pinning him against a brick mailbox pillar and security fence. So sad.

Former 702 ABC Perth breakfast presenter Eoin Cameron has died from a suspected heart attack. He was 65.

Sad news. Although very well known in Perth he also had a brief stint in Melbourne in the early 1980s doing breakfast radio on 3DB and was weather presenter on Channel 7 news.

Veteran Australian actor Ronald Falk has died at 80. His last appeared on Foxtel drama Secret City at the father of Kim Gordon.

British TV actress Caroline Aherne has died of cancer at 52. She was best known as narrator for the original UK version of Gogglebox and for her roles in The Royle Family, The Mrs Merton Show and The Fast Show.

First Victoria Wood and now Caroline Britain has lost two of the best comedians this year,Caroline was a amazing writer as well the way she tapped into writing working class humour was brilliant. She co-wrote 'The Royle Family’which became one of Britain’s favourite sitcoms. As with many talented comedians she sadly had a very troubled life but has left us with her amazing work to enjoy.

Noel Neill, the first actress to play Lois Lane in Superman, has died at the age of 95 after a long illness. Neill first played Lois Lane in 1948’s Superman, reprising the role in 1950’s Atom Man vs. Superman and in the TV series The Adventures of Superman. After her time as Lois Lane, Neill stayed in the Superman universe, playing Lois Lane’s mother in the 1978 Superman movie and appearing in 2006’s Superman Returns.

Actor, writer, producer and director Garry Marshall has died at the age of 81 of complications from pneumonia following a stroke. He created Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley and Mork and Mindy, and directed movies such as Beaches, Pretty Woman, Runaway Bride and The Princess Diaries.

Actress Vivean Gray best known for her roles in ‘The Sullivans’ and ‘Neighbours’ has died in England aged 92.She retired from acting in 1988 and moved back to England,her last role was as Mrs Mangel in ‘Neighbours’.

I’ve seen this going around social media but not seen it reported via any formal channels yet other than Peter Ford?
